Intent Version 3.0 Released

July 22, 2002 Press Release

New York, NY, July 22, 2002 -- Opening the door to a new era of enterprise collaboration, CodeFab Enterprise Solutions announced the public release of Intent V3.0, a dynamic task accountability system that transforms a modern company, team or department from a collection of individuals to a cohesive working unit.

Intent is a powerful and easy to use web, web services and email based application that helps teams manage the myriad of issues that arise when people work together. The system increases project productivity by tracking all outstanding issues, clearly identifying responsible parties, consolidating related communication and actively notifying managers and team members about progress. By providing real-time oversight of the team's activities, managers can make better decisions and workers remain focused on solving the right problems.

"The key is to never drop a ball," says Alex Cone, CodeFab's CEO (and amateur juggler). "When you are managing a project, you need to know where all the balls are, all the time. Tools like Microsoft's Project™ can help with the planning exercise - if you put in a big up-front effort, your problem doesn't change and you don't mind approximations. But when the project gets underway, and the balls start flying, these tools fall down on the job. People will throw in new task balls all throughout the project, so you need a dynamic solution like Intent that embraces change, lets the team see what is going on with every task and clearly communicates who is responsible for keeping their eye on each and every one. Personal responsibility is just good business."

Intent is an ideal partner for today's highly dynamic business environment. Adjusting easily to changing project teams and rapidly evolving requirements, Intent ensures that no task falls through the cracks. Intent's ubiquitous web and email interface means you are always kept in the loop and your projects are always just a click away.

"Four the last four years, Intent has been our secret weapon," says Bill Bumgarner, CTO at CodeFab. "We honed this application in the fire of large team, mission critical consulting projects for top client companies. Until now, Intent was exclusively available to CodeFab's professional services customers. Intent version 3.0 is faster, friendlier, more flexible and, with a powerful web services interface, able to connect with the rest of the world. And it is finally available to everyone!"

CodeFab sells Intent directly as a service on the web at www.IntentCenter.com and requires no software download. For dedicated server solutions that fit the size of your business contact CodeFab or an Intent reseller.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CodeFab, Inc. announced today that they have completed the second phase of creative and technical work with AtomicPop.com. CodeFab provided Atomic Pop with faster performance, increased E-commerce services and an improved, expanded, database. These changes were made during the second project in an ongoing relationship between CodeFab and Atomic Pop, beginning with the first Atomic Pop Web site launch in February, 1999. Since its launch, Atomic Pop has quickly established a reputation as an innovator in the digital delivery of music via the Internet.

"We are proud of our work on the Atomic Pop site, and are certain that the added functionality and faster performance will further the site's e-commerce experience," said Alex Cone, President of CodeFab. "The role of E-commerce in the music business grows larger every day, and Atomic Pop is leading the way."

Recently added features include the streamlined ability to sell digital music files from an extensive music data warehouse. The comprehensive, customizable data storage function allows artist and title information to be constantly updated and improved. CodeFab also increased the Atomic Pop site's performance with faster processing and will provide the company with ongoing support.

Another enhancement is the fully Integrated Shopping Cart, which enables consumers to buy downloadable tracks and CDs in a single transaction. The Integrated shopping cart will also enable consumers to begin a transaction and complete it immediately or come back to it at their leisure.

"Codefab has helped Atomic Pop create a fully integrated shopping cart, where consumers are able to load their cart with multiple music formats, including digital music files for purchase. This is an essential move forward in digital music shopping," said Lewis Rothman, Atomic Pop's Chief Technical Officer. "To further enhance the online shopping experience we have jointly created an innovative rights restriction system which will aid in the sale and distribution of music from the AtomicPop.com store to a worldwide marketplace, immediately recognizing any territorial restrictions."

The Atomic Pop site is a one-stop jump off point for a music-centric pop-culture convergence. Atomic Pop provides a place where music, television, radio, and video games merge into a seamless world of pure digital media. The Atomic Pop label puts the artists back in control of their music, and the Atomic Pop platform brings them closer to their audience through a variety of broadband marketing and content platforms.
