I like to solve interesting problems…
Sunday, February 4th, 2007I’m often asked if I really like coding. I usually respond by saying I like to build things. Often bigger things than I can build by myself, which is why I often end up leading teams or companies. But really what I like is solving interesting problems. One of the reasons I love CodeFab so much is I get to solve a lot of interesting problems. Over our 10 year history I have been privileged to analyze, design and implement solutions to more interesting problems than at all my other jobs combined.
Jonathan ‘Wolf’ Rentzsch from Red Shed has written an excellent article called Programmers Don’t Like to Code that is definitely worth a read! It certainly made me think about what makes me tick.
